ANXIETY - THE IMMEDIATE RELIEF
SHARING 10 TIPS, GIVE ANY OF THEM 5 MINUTES AND OBSERVE THE DIFFRENCE.
1. Release Expectations.
like a bird let all of them go in their flock together and be present to face reality..
2. Do Something Slowly.
bring that mindfulness, that moment of concentration to the work being done.
3. Say Positive Affirmations.
Reciting positive words daily, subconsciously shift the thoughts in the correct direction and make the things fall in place one after another in your favor. Just don't think negative - or - wish bad for others.
4. Say What You Think.
Sometimes not expressing feelings causes them to build up inside, increasing stress. Verbalize or write it down . Let the pressure release . If written burn the paper.
5. Dive Deeper Into Thoughts And Feelings.
- why do I think/ feel this way about that person or situation.
- what causes led to this thought / feeling ?
- why do I still think/feel this way ?
- what conditions could make this thought / feeling change ?
And mindfully look out for answers and jot them down. Do a little work on them and hopefully the puzzle will be resolved.
6. Breath Slowly.
Practice breathing deeply - and when comfortable increase the time gradually. While deep breathing concentrate on the inhalation - exhalation , sound and feel the process.
7. Limit The Noise.
Bring that calm into your life by limiting news, social media and other countless devices. Experience silence at least once a day.
8. Meditate on cooking.
The tiny details to attend to while cooking are extremely therapeutic. A mindful prayer can be said before we start the process. Our hearts can be filled with gratitude as we make our meals and eat them. And value every morsel that we are fortunate enough to ingest.
9. Anticipate the good in tomorrow.
Imagine what would you like to have happen the next day. Choose one activity or event what you would like to happen the next day, then visualize the event as if it is already happening.
10. The Mantra Way.
OM MANI PADME HUM,
translates as;
" when the heart and mind get together and combine efforts, then anything is possible."
so try saying and then humming for 5 minutes and see how you feel.
